Current slide {CURRENT_SLIDE} of {TOTAL_SLIDES}- Save on Audio/MIDI Interfaces
The audio interface works as intended and mostly everything is great. However, audio interference is heard through headphones when the speakers are connected. Could be the wiring inside the house or the PCs interference honestly I don't know at this point. Otherwise a good bang for buck option with neat design and robust build quality.

I have used similar M-Audio products for over a decade from their early "Audiophile" through to their M-Track 2 (the one before this) and also their studio rackmount products, the Delta 1010 and the M-Track 8. They have always been on a parr with similar Tascam products but, n my experience, have always had the edge -UNTIL NOW! Whatever are your product marketing people trying to do? Comparing this with the previous M-Track (of which I have 4 for studio work and for lecturing) this is a very poor relation. The previous version has TWO MIDI interfaces. This has NONE. The previous version has TWO mic inputs plus TWO jack inputs. This has one jack input and a second input which is a shared either/or mic/jack input. All previous versions had a standard USB B connector - this has a very flimsy USB C. Whereas I can connect up my earlier M-Tracks to line inputs and mic inputs and not have to keep switching, wit this one it's pain to have to plug in and un-plug. And when someone says "you don't need MIDI in/outs any more because most kit uses USB fir MIDI, ask them if they've ever heard of "legacy" products - the great sounding products from the 90s that use the standard 5 pin MIDI. M-Audio, get your act together an let people who use these products in the real world define the spec - not some young smart alec straigt from college who reads books and likes to create shiny-looking wedge-shaped over-sized boxes. A product pedigre that was previously great spoiled by one big step backward! Read full review

With legacy products not having support in MAC OSX I decided to upgrade from my FireWire Solo. There are so many products out there but I ha e always liked M-Audio. I needed a simple interface so I decided on the M Track. Very well packaged. Fantastic build quality and incredibly tactile No messing about. Plugged in worked immediately with Logic X So easy. The way it should be. Thanks M-Audio
