Great mix, very clear and good stereo panning from left to right, but there is a lack of really deep bass that was on the original recording. The last movement on the original recording way back in 1970, on "side 1" has absolutely subterranean bass. But not on this mix I am sorry to say. Also the guitars sound a little tinny to me, as if I was listening to it on an iPod instead of my hifi. Very clear sound though. So all-in-all I would recommend it although check out the original. Cannot better that mix in my opinion.

It was this record that marked the start of Mike Oldfield's career. The remaster version is really good and contains good bonus songs. Recommended!

Although over 40 years old, this Mike Oldfield debut album stands the test of time very well. Arguably his best offering to the music world and immortalized in the Exorcist film it must be a given in any music lovers collection. The fact it still sells today shows that not all young music fans are into the mindless junk which passes as music these days.
