I can easily fit into my 20ltr day sack. I’ve used in high winds and held up well with usable photos though obviously some movement. Easy to carry. The plate takes a little getting used to if you have not used it before but with a few minutes practice become second nature. Easier on a camera than a spotting scope. The head is really solid and panning very easy. Once the resistance on the head is set to allow some resistance I found a 60mm spotting scope easy to handle and a 300mm lens on an dslr handled very well.

High quality Manfrotto build. Easy to set up and very sturdy. Perfect for travel. Long exposure fans will need something with a bit more weight. However, this is great for the times you just cannot haul a big lump around with you. A good get out of jail free option in long hikes.

I wanted a very lightweight tripod to carry around in the car for occasional use. My DSLR is not to heavy and this tripod has proved to be very stable and can be set very low which is something I wanted. I’m very pleased with my purchase.
