Great reviews of some rare cars

One of the better Supercar DVDs and now available to buy at the Haynes International Motor Museum. Whilst you are there why not pop in and see the Supercar Display which is on until the end of August only.
In this DVD, Martin Brundle compares a variety of Supercars - both recent and selected respected models from the past - in order to find which is the best compromise between track performance and everyday usability. Martin presenting style isn't as smooth and polished as say the Top Gear team; he tends to describe all the cars in a similar way. Also I found that the methods used to test the cars are inconsistent, thus making the cars hard to compare: e.g. taking one shopping, and giving another to an inexperienced young driver. But the purpose of the disc is to find Martins personal opinion after all! At the time of writing this DVD is four years old, and this shows a little in the 'recent' cars that are reviewed. The Zonda is not yet a honed and polished machine, and only passing reference is made to the Veyron at the end of the disc. So to sum up, this disc is a good way to pass the time if you're a petrolhead - but don't expect be greatly entertained otherwise.Read full review
Entertaining dvd showing many different supercars, as Martin Brundle puts them through their paces on the road and on the track. Includes Ferrari f40 and Enzo, as well as the McLaren f1 and Pagani Zonda. A must for a petrolhead.
