    Great

    My son suffered blisters from his first DofE Silver expedition, so we bought these for his walking boots. We got three pairs to wear new ones each day just in case. They were wonderful, his feet were absolutely fine.

    Went flat within days.

    The first thing about these insoles is that they have to be cut to fit your shoe size. That would be ok if the diagrams on the insoles actually matched your size. Mine didn't, so I ended up with insoles that were slightly too small. Ok, maybe I should have cut them a couple of sizes up, then tested them until they were right, but I chose to trust the diagram on the insole. Big mistake. So anyway, I put them in my shoes and although they were slightly too small they made the shoes feel more comfortable - for about three days. Then they went flat, from about 5 or 6mm thick to just cardboard thickness. Not impressed.

    Nice&Soft

    Lovely nice and soft. Glad I purchased backup pair. As the one’s in my daily wear shoes are wearing brilliantly. No signs of wear. Still comfortable after a very long hard day on my feet. In fact yesterday I was standing up all day, I did not get back to the office unless late in the evening.

    Very thick!

    These are very well made but quite thick so hard to get your foot into a shoe when they go in. Also the cutting guidelines are way off! Measure the insole against your shoe before you cut or they’ll be too narrow and too short and very uncomfortable!

    lightweight insoles

    These insoles are inexpensive, and easy to fit. They are marked with cut out lines for different foot sizes. But I use my own judgement and do not use the lines provided. Also it would be better if they were sticky underneath, to keep them in place, as they tend to slide down the shoe. They are however good quality and comfortable to wear, and worth the £2 pricetag.
