Great device, bad (new) price.

A Necessary Addition to your Surface
The dock is definitely a necessary addition to your Surface if you want to set it up as a real desktop PC. Perfect for the Surface Pro 6!
Works perfectly with my Surface Pro 6! Love that I can connect one cable and get all of the functionality I need, connecting power, a mouse, an audio interface and ethernet all at once. Good, substantial dock but lacks HDMI input
The dock was as good as new. I have gone through 4-5 docks and external USB ports. This one is a keeper, because it's sturdy, has just the right number of ports, and it's not likely to tumble off my desktop like other USB docks. Since it's for an older generation of Surface laptops, it doesn't have an HDMI port. I had to buy a mini Displayport adaptor for the monitor's HDMI cable. All is well. No tranformer with this docking station.
Be careful here! What good is a docking station without a power transformer! I should have been more careful, just didn't even think someone would sell the docking station without one!
