if you have giant hands and want a straightforward mouse this is the one , unfortunately I don't have hands like shovels and found it too big for me to be comfortable and to add to it a shiny top so hands kept sliding off it so I sanded it down which helped but still to big , also not as precise as my old bluetrack one that this isn't , also the usb dongle is bigger than most generic pictures show as its an RF version

Similar shape to Microsoft 1000 and just as weighty ( two AA batteries ) which I prefer over the lighter models. Not as robust though and some batteries are impossible to insert ( lengths can vary depending on make, even though they are all AA size ). Very smooth plastic top which I hated, but have almost got used to now.

I had one of these for the past 5 years of so, but after much abuse it needs replacing, so here we are. This is just as good quality as the last, so expect it to last at least as long, and who knows, I might actually look after this one a bit better.

Microsoft do make decent peripherals certainly. They are tough and reliable as a rule but often a touch over priced. This one wasn't and will be a hardworking addition to a busy office. Also I find the smaller mice more commonly found for sale occasionally awkward to use with my longer fingers so its nice to see a proper size done instead of the flood of cheap "mini Mice" more commonly seen.
