One of the best i had in midium price. It has limited options, vut for me is perfectly enough. We only use it for bread, no jam or anything. Making bread in it is extremely easy. All you need to do is put ingredients and set the program. In 3h time you have fresh bread with no chemicals in it. We tried potato bread, wholemeal, oatmeal, raisins and french so far. All amazing and delicious!! Hightly recomended!!

This bread maker makes lovely bread. Only used the white bread function as yet but it made a lovely 2lb loaf, which is the largest of the 3 sizes it makes, I used the recipe that came in the booklet with the machine, I got this at a real bargain price, when I accidentally threw my paddle away! I really didn't think it would be as good as my old Panasonic one but it is and about half the price, OK it does not look as nice and takes up more room on the counter but it works really well, when the dough starts to come together I bring in the flour from the sides of the pan then it mixes it all and just leave it to it

This comes with a very good, concise instruction booklet which tells you all you need to know about common mistakes and about the ingredients and the basics of the science. It also contains several recipes for each setting. I am entirely new to breadmaking so this really helped. It also has a quick start easy step by step guide, knowing people won't always bother to read the full booklet. For those who want the process demystified: Basically, all you need to do is fit the blade (it's not sharp so no fear of cutting yourself) into the pan with a little sunflower oil on the axle, add the ingredients, precisely measured with the cups provided, all together in the pan in the right order (generally warm water, milk powder, oil, sugar, salt, bread flour, dried fast action yeast). Then slot in the pan in the machine. Choose the programme, which is clearly indicated on whichever recipe you're using, and it starts. It's even very easy to delay the start, so you can have bread ready up to 12 hours from pressing 'go'. Remove the pan when it's finished (it keeps it warm for an hour after finishing but best not to keep it in there for too long as condensation can make your loaf a little soggy on top) and stand for 15 mins before turning out onto a rack. Sometimes the blade gets stuck in the bottom of the loaf but a little wriggling gets it out. There will be a small hole in the bottom of the loaf whether it gets stuck or not but this really is small - you don't end up with hollow bread. The machine is quiet but, annoyingly beeps a few times throughout the process (e.g. to indicate where you could add seeds, even if you have no intention of doing so). Not great if you have it going overnight and I don't think you can dis able the beeping. It is not bad looking: sleek and white, and while fairly large, doesn't look obtrusive. I've only tried a few recipes so far but it states can do great things like croissants, although it only makes the dough then you shape it and bake it in the oven. I thoroughly recommend this machine.Read full review
