I love these headsets for the sound quality. It's my preferred way to talk on the phone and the best audio - way better than any phone I've ever been on. They are small and easily fit into your pocket. The Boom 2+ is water resistant. I've been using Motorola X17, X19, the Boom 2 and now the Boom 2+ (adding the water resistance). Now here is the downside and why I'm only giving it 4 Stars - I've literally bought dozens of them. They end up in the wash in my pockets, get lost easily and the little flip lever breaks in any number of ways. The flip lever is the power button. Generally, one of the tabs breaks off. But, I have also had the mechanism inside the earbud break where it will not stay off. Then, the tab breaks off. The second problem with the flip cannot be fixed. Nor can they be fixed from a tumble through the washing machine. Predominantly, they get lost. You drop it in the garden and can spend a long time hunting due to their small size and color. Still, my favorite headset for sound quality and the sound quality the person on the other end hears.Read full review

Different to say the least I HAVE OWNED 7 OR MORE! It doesn't sound the same as the original boom 2+ I've owned before it doesn't tell how much battery life is left only high medium or low and keeps coming disconnected for no reason at all leaving me to keep reconnecting it to my pixel 3xl multiple times in a day were the other boom 2+'s I've owned have not had these problem I'm not sure if these are real or not but they definitely act differently definitely does NOT last 6hrs talk time NOR! Last the 24 he's standby time that all the others have VERY DISAPPOINTED IN QUALITY AND PERFORMANCE FOR WHAT I PAID!

Motorola bluetooth is the only brand I would buy. Had the HX550, then the 600, and the Boom 2. All of them work great. Now the Boom 2+. They are loud and really have background noise reduction. I tried all other brand, e.g. Plantronic, Jawbone, Jabra, etc. None of them perform very well. Most of them I could not understand the calling party, or they could not hear me. The only complain I have about Motorola Boom is the flip microphone (on / off switch). They break too easily.

This are light reliable and have great battery life. It would be great if the ear hook could be reshaped for comfort. It does tend to hurt the back of my ear otherwise it would be a 5 plus
