solid construction and general very dependable all-rounder. makes calling and texting easy . ringtones ok but extra card memory helps to add in your own . loud and clear sound . blue lights on keypad ok in lowlight/dark but not so good in daylight . has been dropped several times and keeps on going - one of moto's better ones . it's a flat v3 basically . camera ok but if you're a photo freak get sony camera phone .
the Motorola MOTOSLVR L7 Mobile Phone it came in perfect conditions and with all the specified features and extras.it works good and it is what i wanted.
Very slim phone with the razr based software level but you can record and play a video where as you can't on the early razr. the only downfall is the poor quality camera i would of thought motorola could of gone to a 1.3mp camera at least. If this phone had a 2mp camera i would most definatly never need another handset because it is not plasticy like modern phones and is the original candy bar design which looks like a phone and not something from startrek. Any way over all great phone camera takes good pic's but good do with slightly higher res but all the features do make up for this it has a nice 256k colour screen which is very bright and the ringtones are nice and loud, which is one of motorolas good points they always have loud ringtones even if there mp3's or normal. BE CAREFUL THIS PHONE DOES NOT PLAY 3G VID'S but is quite capable of a mp4. Hope this helps.Read full review
I bought it for my mum who already has an Motorola L6. She loved the simplicity of the L6 how she could find everything easily and gain access to all the features. The only reason she upgraded was because she liked using the camera on the phone and the lack of memory card slot on the L6 was a seriously bad point. The L7 is superb, it takes MicroSD memory cards in the side of the phone, which is a really good idea, its better than my SkypePhone which has the memory card slot behind the battery. It is so easy to replace the memory card when required without all the fuss of taking out the battery. The only slight bad thing with the memory card we discovered was that the phone will not take any memory card bigger than 1Gb. This apparently is a fault on all L7's, I find this strange though as my old RAZR V3XX took 2Gb memory cards and this phone was released afterward. If you do put a 2Gb memory card in the phone the phone just tells you it's not formatted and asks you to format it, but despite formatting it you can't use it.Read full review
I simply bought this phone as a second handset for emergency use. I have owned a number of Motorola Phones before and they are all dependable as well as easy to use with. This SLVR L7 model is no different as its candy bar function is not handy but quite slick as well. The sound projection and quality is second to none while the screen resolution is more than acceptable by similar standards. Its bluetooth and camera feature is convinient enough as much as the extra storage of up to 2Gigs that it supports are alll much appreciated. Great phone, I must say!
