    Easy to use

Works well on light surface scratches. Deeper ones or circular ones not so well even when resurfacing the DVD's a number of times. However, even though it doesn't do well on those types of scratches I would recommend using it.

  • Most critical review

Average. Not the best tool for CD buffering.

So, this tool is really to use and put together. Just add the handle and snap it in and you are ready to go. It usually takes 1 - 2 minutes to do a full turn buffer on each CD, which is not too long. However, it ireally doesn't perform as expected. My discs still do not read after cleaning each one 2 - 3 times. Instructions said all that is needed is 2 times for each CD. If you have CDs with a lot of scratches, this is not for you. Skip this entirely. This is only made for minor and not deep scratches.

  • Buyer beware!

I bought this based on my experience with the original GAMEDR repair device. Mine finally gave up after almost 10 years. That device was solid and worked like a champ. However the company and it's new design have nothing on the original. Not only did it completely ruin the disc I wanted to clean/repair. The FlexiWheel came completely off. If you can find the original I would recommend that, however do not waste your money on this garbage. Just spend the few extra to have a professional restore. *I am a real buyer and not a spokesman for any company.*

  • Reduced Lead

Purchased this filter to reduce the lead content of our water. The amount was reduced from 0.0142 mg/L to 0.0029 mg/L where the maximum allowable concentration for lead in drinking water is 0.010 mg/L. The filter was fairly easy to install with some basic plumbing knowledge, but stopping the leaks from the plastic fitting to the metal water pipe fitting was a little challenging.

  • Not made well

First off, read the reviews before you decide to purchase. Remember to keep your disc very wet while resurfacing. Keep the handle moving in a smooth constant forward motion. A couple drops of cr@zy glue will stop the handle from constantly falling off. Some discs are thicker than others and will make resurfacing harder. Good luck with your project.

  • Ruined my dvd. It's no longer playable. Left it worse than it was.

This is a horrible product. The handle kept coming off every time I started spinning it. The instructions are horrible and not very specific. It says to spray the cd, insert it, and turn handle until the disc completes two full rotations. It should say to only turn until the disc completes one single rotation and spraying liquid on it again before the second rotation. In the back it says to keep cd wet during the process but it doesn't specify that it will take only one rotation to dry up the cd and ruin it. If you follow the directions as they're written and give the disc two full rotations you will ruin your cd's.

  • Good for light scratches

Works OK for light work but not for medium or larger scratches or any pits. So far I've used it twice and had to rework one of the disks because the scratches were not removed enough to play... If you need to clean the disk it should work well for you. Doesn't seem to work as well as a repair tool...

  • Amazing

It works GREAT. We have given up on this particular PS4 disc after trying different tricks introduced everywhere online to no avail. When we received the SkipDr, we were amazed at how easy it was to use and only took one try to bring the disc back to life!!! We strongly recommend this product.

  • Trash! Junk!

Its is junk Do not buy it. It made the DVDs worse. The polishing wheel is warped and leaves deeper scratches as does the over lapped polishing surface of the wheel itself. Also, no speed recommended for the rotation of the polishing wheel. It is in the trash. This review asks for pictures but, you cannot see the damage this device did that way. We had to trash the DVDs as well. They are ruined.

  • Poor Quality

the blue center wheel that rotates has blue supporting spokes that are weak and bunch up. it pulls the cleaning rotating wheel up in places and skips polishing those places. Plus the handle "if" it stays on which isn't likely will push that rotating blue wheel off to the side out of place when the handle that spins it finally clicks into place if it does.
