Board accepts all DDR3 RAM. One must fill the correct slots first.

  • Cheap and fun board which plays nice with Windows 10.

If you're on the fence about these Chinese LGA 2011 motherboards, here are my takeaways from this particular board: Pros: -Efficient PCI express data bus connection to CPU; very good performance for 3D gaming. -Ran every E5 v1 and v2 Xeon I've thrown at them without a hitch. -USB 3.0 works as it should. -Actual micro-atx form factor, unlike some of the oddball alternatives which are a few millimeters too long to fit into a mini-tower. -Windows 10 miraculously loads all drivers without incident (Windows 7 users will suffer). -Surprisingly good CPU smart fan control. Cons: -Dual channel memory with each pair of slots sharing one channel (Most Xeons support quad channel memory). This is a common issue; only a small handful of boards support quad channel memory. -Strangely does not support ...

  • Decent board. With some caveats

Everything on the board works. And is compatible with Regular Ram, ECC Ram both buffered and unbuffered. I know it’s a cheap board so I didn’t expect too much. But I have 2 complaints. 1. There were some drivers that were not included on the driver disc. I would not have ever found them without the auto driver install of windows 10 2. The Ram only runs in Dual channel mode and not Quad channel mode. There are 4 DIMM slots, and the bios is provisioned for 4 channels (3 DIMMs per channel actually), but the DIMM slots on the board are only linked to 2 channels. It would be nice to be able to have the full capability of Quad channel Ram Otherwise it works fine. Running my Plex server with an E5-2680v2 and 32GB of ECC registered Ram

  • Good Buy

I put in an E5-2760 v1 processor and 4 8GB DDR3 ECC Samsung sticks. Everything works great. I didn't have to install any driver's. Windows 10 Pro did that for me on the clean install, to any device that was placed on the motherboard. The Wifi antenna broke when trying to put it in a USB slot. I had a 12.00 AC antenna in my junk bin. So I don't know if I'm using the Wi-Fi on the board or the Wi-Fi on the spare antenna that I put in

  • A bit of a silicone lottery

Opening the box, the board looked pretty good. It was clean, everything was solid, it even had a CPU socket cover that's better than Intel's one. Unfortunately, that's the end of the positive bits. The board I received was extremely picky with hardware and out of 8 tested RAM kits, only one would get it to POST. The BIOS speaker (which wasn't included at the time) was worthless and only produced a POST code on a successful boot, so good luck trying to diagnose a fault if it can't get to BIOS. The instruction sheet listed incorrect memory channels, incorrect jumper locations, and did not contain an index of audible POST codes for troubleshooting. The terminals for USB 2.0 are also not properly differentiated from other similar terminals, which lead to us believing there was a bad USB ...

  • M.2 problem

The M/B works great. I7-3930k sper fast. Problem is the M.2 does not work. No mvne in bios and the jumpers on the M/b have no effect. Jumpers marked Pcie or Sata. So with adapter it will boot off of x16 slot. Wish the mvne m.2 slot would work. Cannot find bios upgrade. Good luck.
