i looked for awhile before picking this icon. let me start with the cons. 1} the HD version has play/pause for music. why does this one not get that update? 2} on/off switch should be on the side not under it. 3} volume is kind of a bother. you have to hold the talk button during a call or well music is playing. it goes all the way down than up. at least it does volume now. it used to not. 4} ear buds are decent. now the plus.. 1} it is the best i have ever used when talking on it. the noise assassin works excellent. i told someone i was talking to i was on a bluetooth they wrote it down and ordered one. they thought i was on a land line phone. i stood about a foot away form a blowing fan and they thought water was running in the back ground slowly, thats quite. 2} pairing is easy. 3} a2dp . very convenient to listen to music without holding ear piece with wires. 4} up-gradable through software on my-talk.com- upgrades like different voices and program voice dial or voice prompts. 5} nice size not big or heavy at all. 6} shows battery level on your cell with -jawbone companion- even gives you an option on companion to tell you the time with pushing talk button. 7} reads out number calling you. 8} can be pair to two different cells at one time to get calls from both. now random thoughts... i said the earbuds where decent. they do there job, but i would suggest buying some jabra eargels. they give your ear more sound because the gels tunnel downward into the canal. they are very comfortable. also some have said the usb cable is to short. i like it, easy for travel. conclusion thought...might not be fully featured with pause/play dedicated up and down volume (just the talkbutton pushed and held during calls or music) but i would lose the features to have a bluetooh that does what its meant to do. during calls you cant beat this jawbone icon.... i have used many bluetooth so i am not new to them. have used blueant, plantronics, samsung, non brands, jabra, sony, and the 1 apple ever made. lol. i hope this helped someone make a choice. i know when i was looking i could not find all the answers i wanted. thanks for your time....Read full review
This headset is the best one I have used to date. I have also tried the Sliver, Blueant Q2, and Blueant T1. The Sliver was crushed from my son sitting on it, the T1 died a quick death from a dead battery, and the Q2 was great because of the voice announcing the name of caller as opposed to just the phone number. The Q2 felt really cheap though. This Jawbone has a solid build, the best standby time, best in ear comfort yet, and has been rock solid dependable. The only downside is the lack of a button for instant volume increase and decrease -- this is one that you have to cycle up and down. I work as a stonemason and this thing has been a great tool which has withstood the beating.
Very nice product ready to go
