After owning an optoma projector for nearly double the price of this one. I'm massively Impressed. No rainbow effect and FANTASTIC features. Takes seconds to power down and seconds to power up. The only con I have is I really wished this has audio output. However. This is easily resolved with a cheap HDMI audio extractor adaptor. Which you can get for about 5 pounds. So it's really not a massive deal breaker. You can use split screen across multiple sources. And streaming directly from your phone is possible but not recommended. It's laggy and distracting when watching video. But images are fine. I really don't regret buying this. It's been fantastic. And the build quality is soooo much better than the valued Optima brand IMHO. Another massive pro is the screen size. This projector really throws out a large a** image at a relatively short distance. If you are on the fence about getting it. GET IT. Trust me. Read full review

The projector works out of the box. The image is bright and rich in colour. The projected image is much bigger than our last Panasonic projector, using the same ceiling mount. The Zoom does not have a great range, which is pointed out in review sites. The net result is that we will need to get a new screen. Luckily our room is wide enough to fit a wider screen. Check the image size and projector to screen distance before buying!

I did a lot of research and wavered between getting an epson, benq or optoma. In the end epson seemed to have the best resolution and tone for showing films in an exhibition. The others are probably more punchy but a bit brash. I have previously had an epson for years, and it’s still going, so I hope this is the same. very pleased with brightness and resolution.

Great quality, Great price, Great item. Lots of interesting and useful features, image is crisp, clear and very bright on a duronic projector screen. It is still easy to watch in a relatively bright room. But really stands out in total darkness, black levels and contrast are also very good. This is an excellent purchase if you are looking for low cost home cinema or just a bigger display for watching TV and playing games. We have used it to play a few games and has been more than capable of producing bright and fast moving images with no input lag or juddering. All round good item.

Great colours. Good price for full HD but there’s a bit of chromatic aberration. The colours are better than typical DLP. Quiet on eco mode, a bit noisy on full power, but the brightness is good.
