Bizarre black humour at its best It does however seem to glorify drugs but is is still very enjoyable
About time, thats what i thought when i heard Allan Moyle had at last folowed up the fantastic 'Pump up the Volume' - surely one of the best films of the 90's. While it is not quite up to that high standard it is on a par with 'Empire Records' one of his other excellent films. Wes Bentley puts in a great performance, just as good as his role in 'American Beauty', and the whole cast is fine throughout. If you like off-beat American indie films this is one not to be missed, especially if you are a fan of the directors other work. Plus there are some fine extras on the DVD too making it a great package!
