Good cheap alternative to expensive versions.
I knew this wouldn't be like those lovely ones I see being used online, as I'm not that naive. But it does the job, just make sure the room you're in isn't too hot or cold,else you will have cracking or slow setting layers. It's smelly yes, but not so pungent it stinks the room out, just gross if you sniff haha! Overall, very pleased and feel I got what I paid for.

A bit fiddly
Santa brought me a DIY gel nails kit. My first attempt was a bit messy so I looked for tips on Youtube and saw that many people were recommending a latex, peel off cuticle protector. Could not buy any locally so sent for this. I'm afraid I ended up with fingers that were just as messy as a steady hand is needed to put the product just on cuticles and not on the nail. Wasn't sure if to leave it on while polish was curing. Basically, I should apply a much thicker coat as it dries transparent and you can't get hold of a think coat very well. Came off ok with a pair of tweezers. Maybe more suited to nail art? I'm just going to learn to put polish on neatly! Doesn't speed things up at all. DOESN'T WORK
I was looking forward to trying this out, but after it had been on for 3 days, i tried to remove it, and it doesn't come off. The only good side about it is, it stops your nail varnish from chipping on the edges. The downside is, it takes longer to dry, the nail varnish moves on the surface when its dry. It's difficult to apply because of the brush, lastly it RUINS YOUR NAILS STRUCTURE, the longer its on, I've had problems ever since, the ends of my nails have completely shattered and wont stop peeling. Too liquid
It doesn't really do the job as expected, I have used others and this is very liquid, seems like paper glue and loads of water. takes longer to dry so you can start to paint your nails and does not peel of smooth, it comes of in pieces and you have to wash the hands after to completely remove it. If you have patience to apply more than one layer it might do the job...
