After trying another brand which was terrible sound and interference I thought I'd try this one and was not let down. Tuned in straight away and the sound was spot on. I plugged a mini USB into it loaded with tracks so it just plays tracks continually. When restarting car it starts where it left off. Brilliant player

The device was easy to set up using the basic instructions provided, I had no problems pairing it with my phone, and getting it tuned in to the car stereo. However, while the sound quality may be suitable for making and receiving phone calls, it is not recommended for listening to music. With the volume on the device turned up to max, I still had to turn the car stereo volume way up beyond normal listening levels. The the sound lacked lacked any depth with a similar quality to that of a radio alarm clock or cheap portable radio. I tried fiddling with EQ settings and changing FM frequencies but nothing could be done to improve the sound. I have to say, I haven't tried using an SD card with MP3 files, but would expect the same results.

I needed a way to play my music on an SD card and this seemed ideal. It is plug & play and very easy to use and could also charge my phone via the USB port while playing a SD card so there was need need for a cigarette lighter splitter. The first annoyance is that the unit does not remember exactly where it was when you turn off the car, and will default to the beginning of the last track playing, which can be very annoying if you are making a series of stops and listening to a long track, as all you'll hear is the start of the track over and over again. It makes listening to a spoken book almost impossible unless you can guarantee that you won't need to stop your car for the duration, as the search facilities on the unit are very basic and slow to respond. However, the main reason for the two star review is that I could not get rid rid of the 'whooshing' background interference noise which was very noticeable on quieter tracks, even after trying every possible FM band. I think that this is probably due to cheap electronics in the unit interfering with the radio waves, but hey ho, it was six quid so I suppose I shouldn't have expected too much. In the end it spurred me to replace my radio to a unit with a built in SD slot and now I have perfect SD card music wherever I go. I would recommend that you only buy this unit if you have no other way of playing SD or USB material.Read full review

The look is one, and the sound quality is another matter! You can hear the high frequency sound all the time. Especially at louder listening to music. Very annoying and tiring. Unfortunately ... I will not recommend!

This promises a lot but delivers little. The main problem with all of these FM transmitters is the channel drifting out of tune and this happens all of the time with these things. Unless you get one that locks the frequency you will be re-tuning it all of the time. in the end I managed to find a CD changer emulater for my VW polo radio/CD. you plug it in the back of the radio and the radio 'thinks' there is a CD changer. You just plug in an SD memory card with your MP3 tunes and play them directly through your radio/car speaker system.
