Recently spent loads of money on kettles.Tippers.Hot water dispensers, all to no success. On the off chance bought this for it's size.......SUCCESS! My elderly mum with dementia has successfully managed to make herself cups of tea. I paid less than Twenty pounds & worth every penny. Yes I recommend this for the elderly for the light weight.

Super light weight kettle. Small and stylish. I use it in the bedroom for my morning cuppa. It boils quite quickly and quietly. Holds up to 1 litre which is great for a couple of good size mugs. Someone mentioned the lid - just be gentle when you press the top to open it. A quick press is all that's required. Quality seems to be very good. I've only been using it a couple of weeks and am really pleased I bought it. Would also be great in the kitchen for quick boiling for just a cup or two. It's also cordless which is great, although using it in the bedroom which has less sockets than the kitchen means I need to use an extension.

This is a great little kettle. I bought it for my Mum as she has arthritic hands and finds the larger kettles heavy and difficult to lift. This is where this kettle comes into it's own. It is light, easy to fill and can fully turn on the base making it much easier to use. This is the second one we have had as we wore the other one out! The lid on the previous one was a little troublesome, but this one is fine. It boils nice and quickly and we find it perfect for everyday use. Would definitely recommend.

A good quality small cordless kettle, with 1 litre capacity. Heats quickly with an economical 1Kw base enclosed element. Enabling the heating of one mug amounts of water. Water level easily seen through the 'wrap around' transparent panel. Update: I found it a useful little kettle. I had no problem with the lid. But a relative used it once, tried to fill it and found could not operate the lid, so used a spoon to lever it open which of course ruined the mechanism. The end of a 'good' little kettle The lid could be easier to open. But if treated gently should be ok. A previous reviewer also found the lid to be a problem. Perhaps it is a batch problem. Or a design fault??

a nice little kettle - lightweight, and although takes a little longer to boil than something more powerful, it is lovely and quiet.
