Once, I'd verified that it was going to work, the activation code was sent within a few minutes. The only downside is that it takes about 2 3/4 hours to update during which it's necessary to keep the engine running. I did try plugging in a battery charger but the dash still shuts down after about ten minutes. IN the end I went for a long drive as it was a but anti-social leaving it running on the driveway for that amount of time.
