TV good value for Sony Bravia, although little disappointing it had no AV input points as per my previous one not so easy to use DVD need special cable..

Having used several Sony smart TVs before I was pleased to find nothing too serious to worry about. Sure it takes some setting up, but then so does every other TV you buy nowadays. I generally tend to reduce or switch off every picture enhancement going before attempting to set up the best black and white image before finally adding colour. The only mild concern is that I have found that previous Sony's tend to start developing faults after around 5 years, especially the dreaded standby light error. Hopefully by then we will have moved over to an OLED panel by then.

I got the Sony about 3 years ago 2 days after the warranty expired the av tuner died this is about £100 to replace. I also got screen burn from YouTube homescreen being on for 20mins. BUY SONY TVS IF YOU WANT TO BE RIPPED OFF if you want a good 40 tv the Samsung uhd 4k is £40 BUT 100 TIME BETTER OR IF YOU WANT TO SAVE THE SHARP 40INCHES SMAT TV IS £30 CHEAP AND STILL BETTER THAN SONY
