Connector does not fit into the case when connected to a drive
The cables supplied with the case do not fit into the case once they are connected to a drive. This is because the cable connector has a right-angle bend in it. Connecting the cables to the drive is easy enough though. So as the cable connector does not fit into the enclosure when connected I cannot say it is good value, easy to set up or easy to use. I do have an identical case for a PATA drive which did not have these problems.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Old. Very old.
Ancient bit of kit. Instructions were dated 2006! Doesn’t fit together particularly well, gaps in casing when closed. Badly designed internal cabling makes it a pain to screw together. Bag a Genuine Bargain Folks.
I have owned a couple of these drive holders in the past. I sold them with other computers I have owned. Never had any bother with them at all. I use them to put old sky box HDD in. A cheap way to gain external storage. This one works great. It comes with its own external power supply and Usb lead. The front lights up with 5 Blue stars, lets you know the power is on. Well boxed.
