I bought this phone because I wanted pure, vendor-unmodified Android operating system. I like it's display, no lags, simple to use attitude and so far I haven't found anything that makes me dislike it. In todays levels of advanced smartphone market, Nexus 5 competes tightly with the newest models fairly well. And compared to it's competitors, Nexus 5 is pretty cheap as well.
I needed a new smartphone and concluded that this phone was the best solution, it is the most inexpensive of the latest releases and is just as good. The camera is amazing and so is the phone in general considering the price. The only problem I have encountered is some issue with the camera where sometimes it will not work at all, however this is an issue with all Google phones.
Battery life isn't fantastic, but then it does have a fairly small battery in comparison to its competitors. If you adjust a few settings as a compromise, but without jeopardising experience, then you can make it last longer. It's a bit tricky to use one handed due to the size of it, but I don't mind that because viewing media on such a large screen is brilliant.
I loved this phone from the start ! My hubby has one all ready and when I need a new one myself I knew that I was getting a great phone with all the speed and a good camera, I would recommend this to anyone without hessitaion.
Nobody in their right mind needs to spend more than £100 to get an as-new-condition smartphone running Android 6.
