Earlier I had such phone. I was very happy with it! But unfortunately it has broken at me ((. Here I have decided to buy one more same. Very much it convenient and functional, technically advanced. I from it in delight!
I bought a nokia n85. Basically the telephone is great as I expected. There are two problems with the phone. It’s very hard to open the slide, and the navy wheel is wrong. But these are the problems of this phone, not the N85 series. As I said before: the telephone is great.
phone taken apart and repaired ,cannot be used.no any necessary accessories! all over a Worn-out!no refund!blackmailer!
This is my very first review of anything, so please bear with me! This is my second N85, having had mine stolen just the other day. I felt it was just right for me, so I've ebayed another one! Personally I chose the N85 as I felt it was the next best step up from my previous phone, the N95. I feel the N85 incorporates the very best features of the N95 and improves on slight niggles the older flagship model may have had. Stand outs for me include auto screen rotation, iPlayer function, and not to mention the brilliant OLED screen; practically HD for mobiles. Also, because the N85 screen is not backlit like most phones, the battery life increases tremendously opposed to phones with TFT screens. Carl Zeiss once again delivers with the 5mp camera. It allows you to capture great images which look fantastic on the OLED, so much sharper than basic TFT screens (just compare screenshots from the N85 to, say, the N95 and you'll see an incredible difference, for example). It may not be 8mp,(wait for the N86) but I feel 5mp is more than suitable for todays mobile users, ideal for the everyday photographer; much better than 2mp, and surely, if you want super digital pics, go buy a camera! Another great feature is the S60 on Symbian OS compatibilty. All the time, developers are creating fantastic new applications, themes, wallpapers, games etc so software to suit every person is either available-or soon will be! Many of the applications and such tend to be free, so you can always update a smartphone with great new items, be it blacklists, maps (Google, Nokia, OVI), internet radio, translators, converters, shake-locks - the list goes on. You can keep your phone up to date for years to come. The phone looks fantastic too - took me a while to get used to the sleeker look over the blocky N95 I'll admit, but now I love it. Whilst screenshots might make it look like a little fragile (I know I was afraid to take it anywhere when I first got it!), the N85 is brilliantly made. The slide feels comfortable, more so than the N95. Buttons have a nice glow emitting from them, and the keypad is great for texting. The sim card can be taken out without having to remove the battery, which is nice. The speakers have moved, having been placed on the top and bottom of the right side of the phone, meaning all buttons are at the top of the phone when rotated to landscape. My favourite addition is the quick lock button - allowing you to lock or unlock with a simple flick - so much easier than using the soft keys. The only niggle I really found is the navi rotation wheel. It attempts to be a little like the iPod wheel, but it doesn't really work. Its not necessary though, and is just another extra. As far as I can see, it does everything the N96 does, and has everything the N96 has (except maybe the stand to prop your phone up, but hey ...) but has just that little bit extra. The only difference I see is that you pay more for the N96. Why do that when you can get more for less? All in all, a great mobile; I would definately recommend it to fans of Nokia. If you're looking for a sophisticated smartphone with an excellent screen with an elegant design, the N85 is the phone for you. Thanks.Read full review
