The Olympus Camedia C-60 collected rave reviews at its launch, now 8-years later(YES EIGHT YEARS LATER!) it still gives today's Anorexic/Plastic-bodied digicams some serious competition. Firstly there's the lens, an all-glass quality 3 x Olympus Zoom. Secondly there's the super-fast focus, from the C-60's Hybrid focus system, plus there's the option to have Full-Time Auto-focus. Thirdly there's Program Exposure/Aperture Priority/Shutter Priority & lastly Full Manual control, (mostly only delivered by today's Digital SLR Cameras. Fourthly there's a stout metal body to deliver years of picture taking. My eBay bargain of the year was winning A Boxed-As-New C-60, with all the original Charger, accessory leads, & Manuals still in their Olympus Factory packaging -All for only £36. It really was unused & complete with its original Olympus Camera-feature Decals -!!!Read full review
This vintage Olympus camera has better lenses than many modern cameras and takes brilliant photos which lose none of their sharpness if you want to magnify them. It is light and compact and, best of all, it has a viewfinder.

The picture quality is very good, great as a point - and - shoot camera, the auto settings are good, and also the various other settings (Twilight, close-up etc) are quite good. Bit bulky compared to latest cameras, but very solid and well made - metal body should survive knocks and drops better the modern plastic cameras. Great camera, and good price.
Nice bundle excellent for diving but finding a card for this camera not easy..but might have to upgrade to a better camera .

I bought a second-hand digital because I wanted a camera which had an optical viewfinder (I can't be the only one who has trouble with LCD screens on a bright day), which was small enough to go in my pocket but not so tiny I would be in constant fear of dropping it. A new camera with these features did not seem to be available. This Olympus Camedia C-60 fitted the bill exactly, with a through-the-lens optical finder and 6 megapixels (enough for my purposes). After I bought it I also discovered it allowed me to set shutter speed (to 1000) and aperture manually - an unexpected advantage. I have taken about 200 pictures on it now, with excellent results. It's a lovely little camera. If the manufacturers ever start including optical finders again on this class of camera I may buy a new one. Otherwise, when this fails I'll just look for another second hand one. Another point - at only £30 including postage, if I lose it or break it it will not rank as one of life's big didasters.Read full review
