A Great Universal Remote
The first Universal Remote I've owned and it's great. It feels of much better quality than most of the remote controls it replaces; I'm particularly referring to the weight of the metallic buttons, which are the most often used ones. It does mean I have to press them with a bit more force than I'm used to but I'm sure I'll get used to that in time. A I've stated above, it is very easy to programme the remote; and even though a few of the buttons didn't do what I wanted at first, you can programme individual buttons to match any button on any other remote. The only gripe I have, if you can call it that, is that because it's quite big, it sometimes takes a bit of time and stretching of the hand to reach from the buttons at the top to the buttons at the bottom. This is an inevitable consequence, however, of having such a lot of functionality in one device, and indeed my old TV Recorder remote had the same problem. I'd recommend this remote to anyone, ESPECIALLY at the price I found it at (about £8).Verified purchase: YesCondition: Refurbished

One for all remote
Well made but not as advertised? will not work with Bose Wave system or Panasonic HD free view box. No code for Bose products and will not read the the data from the original Bose remote? The two listed 3 digit codes for Panasonic will not work with my free view box and like the Bose will not read the original remote code. I expect it is 100% with many other products as there are 100's sold world wide. Prehap's the manufactures should also list the products it will not work with? Type in a code or an access number and you have a rem0ote for your device. It's very simple, surprisingly well built (better than the unit originals) and works. What more can you ask? Technophobe is won over
I'm rubbish with technology, any technology so needed something I could master easily. Well, this fits the bill perfectly. It's VERY easy to program and use. I had it working in minutes - so was astonished. The instructions are easy to follow and once it's set up you're go to go. Good design with easy to see and use buttons. Really nice remote
This is a solidly built piece of kit. I wanted it for an old Cello TV and using the supplied code number it works fine. It also works my Marantz hi-fi which I didn't expect. I'm delighted with it. Even a 4 year old could do this
It was correct within, 30 seconds I had worked out how to programe this device and for the ones which didn't have a code I could either let it guess, or if you have an old remote that controlled you could use it to clone another one, which takes a bit ,more time, but I am thoroughly happy with this product, and was glad that I searched around for a bit to find this one!
