I bought one of these a few weeks back. It add a lot of extra spacce to the footprint of your van. It's easy to put up once you get used to it but there were no instructions in the pack. Feed both poles through the tubes in the awning but erect one onto the pins first and pull it up with the guy lines and peg it up temporarily while you do the same to the second pole set. I put both poles on the pins before tryiing to lift the tent up and it was a nightmare. One of the poles split but the manufacturers replaced it straight away without any fuss. Excellent customer service. I would recommend this awning, Outdoor Revolution the manufacturers and especially Kevin at Camping On-Line who sorted out replacing the pole for me.

Do not buy this awning if you have a Peugeot or Citroen van as shown in the advert. It’s a great size and well made, but it is impossible to open the sliding side door because it hits the awning stopping it from opening. Having an awning that’s not comparable is useless.
