Bought this mainly for using on a gas stove whilst camping but it also works great on an electric job so long as you start on higher ring and move to simmer ring once or starts to build up. Very easy to use and supplied with a fairly basic cooking times guide. Saves a lot of time cooking things like pot roasts (although better to brown the meat first). Highly recommended

I used a pressure cooker many years ago but it was heavy, very fiddly with the weights and also so noisy and frightening I eventually put it at the back of the cupboard but today I have joined the space race and bought this new one. It is quick, no fiddling with weights and although a little noisy - not in the least bit frightening. I cooked my Christmas Ham in just 10 minutes once it had built up the pressure and it was beautiful! Best of all-it was very light and easy to handle. If you need speed, this is the cooking aid for you.

Supplied without a spare gasket despite advert showing quite clearly that one was being offered. The product is otherwise most suitable & so I decided to keep it. WARNING watch out for this non existent gasket!
