The GX80 is the best Panasonic micro four thirds camera so far. The shutter is so much smoother and quieter than the GX7, and there is a big improvement in low light image quality. But, it still lags behind any of the Olympus micro four thirds cameras for image quality, and if you have used Olympus, you could never get used to the inferior EVF of the GX80. It's also a lot heavier than thelikes of the Olympus E-M10.

One of the best pocket cameras you can get, the image quality is great, the kit lens is one of the sharpest kit lenses of any manufacturer, and the stabalisation is second to none allowing you to take shots at slower shutter speeds in poorer light with no loss of quality. Overall, an excellent camera with a much better image quality than the £1000+ Sony RX100 series.
