    When "more" doesn't mean "better"

    A late edition of original "801 Live", an awesome record, this new version adds up two more tracks but doesn't even bother to equalize the volume of these with the remainig original ones! The result is poor, a patchwork of different moods that destroys the concert atmosphere. Pity, because it is great music!

    A great live album - add it to your collection!

    I loved this album when it first came out on vinyl a lot of years ago as I am a fan of Phil Manzanera and co. It's got the vibrancy of live performance and a fairly eclectic collection of tracks, as you'd expect from this lot. I still have the LP but needed it in a form I could get onto MP3 and most of this album is not downloadable - a little obscure to be widely available - so I was thrilled when I found it on eBay.
