First off. Stop reading if your signal is poor, this is not an amplifying aerial! If you want to stop that burbling sound then this aerial is for you. It takes a good signal and improves it to the point where you get virtual interference free clarity. You MUST persevere with placing it though. Don't expect to connect it and, bang problem solved. DAB signals appear to be on a lot of different National Blocks. My advice would be to tune your Most listened to station through the scan, then position your aerial and start to slowly move it until you get the best sound. My only bad point with this product is the cable length is only 1.5 metres. A tip that works for me; If you get burbling in the sound and the aerial is close to an external wall, stick it tight to the wall with cellotape and as straight as you can. Avoid use near laptops, hard drives, routers and your hi-fi speakers.Read full review

This is a worthwhile purchase if the DAB signal in your area is strong, and you are purely looking for something neater and easier to deploy than the usual 'wire' antenna included with most Hi-Fi DAB receivers. However, if you have poor reception with a 'wire' aerial, results will be no better with this type of antenna. This is NOT an issue with the product itself, or the quality (which is very acceptable). It's because it is 'passive' design (there is no 'active' amplifier booster in it). Even one with an amplifier won't work in poor signal areas. I've tried it. As the saying goes, "Rubbish in equals rubbish out". Nothing beats a proper fixed outdoor DAB aerial, if you're struggling with reception.

Good value for the money. Living a little in a valley it is difficult to get a signal that works on my receiver. The standard antenna gave me 3 stations if I were lucky and depended on the time of the day. This pushed it up to 8 stations. For an indoor antenna it works very well. To improve on this, for this location, I would have to install an outdoor antenna and make sure it was at least 10ft above the roof of the property. It has done what I expected for me.

I bought one for my home several weeks ago and it worked an absolute treat. When my mother in law noticed how unobtrusive it looked she wanted one for her home round the corner from me so I ordered one for her. Unfortunately no matter where I placed it I could not get a signal as good as the wire antenna supplied with the radio. Because the packaging is high density plastic I had to totally destroy it to get the aerial out so could not return it in a saleable condition. Well pleased with the aerial but be aware it will not work in every location

Needed a simple aerial to replace unsightly wire radio aerial supplied with DAB hifi unit. Works as well as the wire supplied with DAB radio hifi but much neater when placed in the window where the signal can be received. Don't assume the DAB reception will be improved but does replace unsightly wire aerial which comes with DAB radio. DAB receiver must have aerial plug in facility - F type.
