Reasonable quality pipe threader.
This is one of those “you get what you pay for” items. The price reflects the quality. If you keep that in mind, then you won’t be disappointed. If you need to thread a few pipes every now and again, then this set will definitely suffice. If you’re a professional and need a quality pipe threader for every day use, then this is definitely not the set for you. The pipe cutter is more than difficult to keep in a straight line and the threader dies fall out of the threader easily. The pipe threads are not the cleanest, but they work. On the plus side, I was able to recoup the cost of the tool buying 10’ lengths of pipe and making my own pipe nipples which was the whole point. Saved me money!
It's impossible to express in text just how happy I am to have bought this product. My old galvanized pipe for my water heater broke at the threads. Plumbers and contractors wanted hundreds to thousands to replace the whole pipe. Disappointed
Pipe cutter was ok- hard a hard job cutting a straight edge without spiralling. Pipe threader worked on first two sections of 1 1/4 pipe with some effort, then would not cut a third pipe. That die is shot.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
