The fan stock, would barely want to spin, and rarely spins up at all. It regularly overheated after 5 mins operation. But after installing this gadget, fan speeds have returned to a normalish range. And the overheating is gone. I have replaced the thermal paste and the crappy heatsonk for the gpu on this model has a very small washer added to one of the screws for added presure on the chip. Works a treat.
