Bought as a replacement for my Blagdon hybrid pump that failed after 18 months. This pump was cheaper than a new Blagdon replacement, still only 140 watts but the price allowed me to move up a bit and get more output . It's only been pumping for 2 weeks but I'm impressed so far, easy to take apart and clean with readily available spares. Reviews suggest that Oase are the Rolls.Royce of pumps, being made in Germany gives me confidence in the build quality Only time will tell but I'm happy with my choice As regards to the Blagdon pump Interpet who own the brand are replacing it no quibble as they say this is a rare failure of their product. That pump also was good , a bit pricey and a bit fragile I managed to break a few plastic parts when cleaning it.
