Does as it says on the box but it does not glide through the hair and it feels like your pulling your hair through the plates. Bit fiddly closing the plates, they don't close flush, you have to grip the end with your other hand to ensure the plates are closed securely on the hair. I was looking forward to this product but I prefer my hair attached to my scalp and I haven't the time to fiddle about closing them for each bit of hair I attempt. Bit disappointing but hey ho what do you expect for £17 🤔
