Expensive and simple, but high quality and effective portable Dab radio
I've had Pure goods before and they don't last forever, are picy but are good to use. I bought this accepting that £80 odd is alot to pay but the sound quality would compensate. This is so, and the battery life is as promised which is a bonus. As others say, alarm only works if plugged in to the mains. It's small, has a ( rather fragile) stand, no ear phones. Bluetooth only works as a speaker. But as a high quality portable Dab it is great.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Very good product, but the display does not function correctly and it is too bright for bedroom
Very high quality product with good sound, comprehensive and intuitive functions, but the display does not stay at set Level and therefore it is too bright for a bedroom radio/alarm/clock. I had set the brightness at the lowest setting 1, for both active and stand by. It stayed at the level 1 until I switched it off, then it becomes very bright and it lits up the bedroom. I tried the Auto mode, but it also does not work as expected and it is too bright. I have now changed it to time out, which works fine, but it stays on at the end of alarm. Also, as other user reported, the alarm only works on AC adaptor, but not on battery. I would not pay the RRP.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Very pleased with this radio!
Excellent DAB radio! Small enough to pack for travel! But not too small for decent sound. The display is good considering the size of the screen. I like to switch my phone off when away from home at bedtime. I also hate using the radio on tv when in hotels because I hate the brightness of the screen.. Compact and great sound quality!!!!
Really impressed with the sound quality and ease of use. The radio is both compact and lightweight. However the build quality is very good and it feels well made and not cheap. A nice little touch is the flip out stand so that the unit remains upright. Battery life is more than acceptable and I can charge it up whilst out on the bank fishing. Generally good
Good slick interface. Aerial is a bugger to remove if you don't have long fingernails. Voive tone on Radio 3 DAB is a bit iffy but this may be down to regional DAB variations rather rhan the unit because other stations seem ok. FM quality is really good. Better than DAB which I suppose is to be excepted but I was surprised at just how good it was. According to the booklet the radio has to be plugged into the mains for the alarm to work. That's a bit inconvenient if you're away from a mains socket. Much smaller than I expected which is not a bad thing but a surprise nonetheless. Great DAB radio, it’s compact with a clear display and I haven’t had any issues at all with reception when the aerial is up. I take it with me when I work alone just for a bit of company. The battery life on a full charge has never ran out and I’ve used it for 8 hours constantly on a single charge. It also plays streamed music via Bluetooth through its speaker. At an affordable price, I don’t hesitate in recommending this radio. Q. If anybody knows what the thing that looks like a little round led/light to the left hand side of the number 1 button is for. Very good radio but limited Bluetooth connectivity
I am very pleased with the portabililty and quality of sound with this small radio. The only disappointing feature is that it is advertised as having Bluetooth technology but it won't connect to my Sennheiser blue tooth earphones which was one of the reasons i chose it. Also be aware that if you are buying a product from Europe now you may have to pay VAT twice as I had to for this device.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Very advanced small radio
This is just brilliant , lots of features and so easy to use . What I like most is the option to keep screen clock LED on when unit is switched off . Nice little desk clock . The radio and Bluetooth is crystal clear and pleasing to the ear 10/10 .
