Great jacking points - easy to fit ALKO chassis

This was a well made kit for fitting jacking points on the chassis. The 3 part handle is heavy and I think would be easier as a 1 piece handle. Jack is very heavy and this wasn’t clear at time of purchase

  • Most critical review

    A good solid jack

I purchased this jack having recently experienced a blowout with caravan tyre. I found it very difficult to access a suitable jacking point and raise the van with a scissor jack. This jack and jacking brackets will provide easily accessible jacking points and hopefully make it easier to raise. I intend to use it to level the caravan by raising it sufficiently to slip a ramp under the wheel. (My motor mover tends to slip when reversing onto a ramp). The jack itself is very sturdy, I am not sure where the 'lite' comes into it as it is quite heavy. The jack saddle and brackets are made to fit each other. I did consider buying the brackets and a cheaper and lighter jack but not sure if the 2 would have married properly. That would have potentially saved me £40-50. I have seen second had kojack lites with plastic cases. Mine came without a case. I am pleased with the jack overall but question why it is so expensive.

  • Top quality tool well designed !!!

Works spot on, it’s gonna save me time every set up now with ease, especially putting the alko wheel locks on, that used to be dodgy to jack with my manufacturers jack taking a lot of effort and very time consuming, And I’m a mechanic so god only knows how your every day for Bloggs finds it !!! That’s all ended now I could let a 5 yr old jack up my van now in less than 1 minute !!!

  • Its OK

Having used the AlKo version I was rather concerned about the stability of it so bought the PurpleLine hydraulic version. It has a wider base so should be more stable as not all uses are on level ground. So far its good but time will tell!

  • Safe lifting

Easy to fit and peace of mind knowing that it is made solely for lifting a caravan and within the manufacturer s warranty requirements . Why risk damaging your chassis ?

  • A very handy tool for carrying in a caravan

It works well but it is a bit expensive. A "normal" hydraulic jack can be picked up for about £20 so the brackets are costing nearly £70. However it is "special" jack . I knew what I was going for so I accept that. I could not make the brackets myself so I'll leave it at that.

  • Looks good

Not yet used but looks good, seems well made, easy..ish to fit brackets which dependent on ability to slide under the caravan to fit (no I do not have access to vehicle lift). I think this is good value but time and happenstance will tell.

  • can be used with confidence that it fits securely

what a grate product easy to fit and use with clear instruction. could be made lighter but the price go up so in a nut shell makes life easy for changing wheels and leveling the van

  • (KOJAK) Cracking jacking system.

Having the kojak jacking system brackets fitted makes it safer for lifting the caravans has it has made it a lot easier to connect the hydrolic jack to the lifting brackets which are bolted on both sides of the caravan chassis instead of trying use scissor or trolley jacks which are hard to place in a safe lifting point on the chassis

  • You know you need it...

This particular system is very good value, and performs well. I like the spirit levels on the brackets, as I use this to both level the 'van where needed, and align the alko wheel lock too! The fact that the spare wheel is now possible to change now is the icing on the cake. So, for me, it was a must have item.
