First impressions are good I needed a music stand to hold a 10 inch tablet within a drum kit set up. Because space is at a premium I didn't need a full size stand. This stand is about a centimetre all round larger than an A4 sheet of paper so easily holds a 10inch tablet. Everything feels pretty solid although once I find the ideal setting I don't foresee I will be altering much. For £15 you can'y go far wrong

Clamps to the mic stand. I play in a jazz/blues band so need to be able to glance at music to see where we're going next. I find it convenient to be able to sing into a mic and be able to glance down at music when I need to. Just slightly wider than an A4 sheet I have cut down an A4 folder and clamp the folder to the stand with bulldog clips. Essential for cramped venues like pubs.I love it.

There is nothing wrong with this item but it is totally unsuitable for what I wanted but I can and will use it for another purpose. I picked the wrong item my fault but you asked for a comment so I`m being honest.

Brilliant, robust clip on/attached to mike (or similar size tripod metal stand) music shelf/tablet or ipod rest. It gives me confidence to place a sizeable and weighted tablet or ipad 12.5 size (which I have) that can easily detach from the screw on bracket and the attachment of the music rest.

Just what I was looking for to hold my tablet. I am a keyboard player and this was a solution to a long time problem where the music stands on the keyboards sit too far back. Don't know why I didn't try it before.
