Returning purchase, albeit afte more than '8 years'. I originally purchased just 1 bulb in late 2013 followed by 5 more in 2014 because i was impressed with the original bulb. This 1 bulb i have now purchased is a replacement for one of the bulbs that has stopped working. No complaints here after 8+ years of use before failing. Reliability like this why wouldn't i come back. See you again in 2030 - ha! - Thank you. Ps this was £2.00 cheaper than the original 2013/14 price of £6.99

Good clear strong illumination, but the claimed lifespan of 30,000 hours (i.e. almost 4 years of non-stop use) is very doubtful. I've had 1 of these in use for around 2 years for no longer than a couple of hours each night in a kitchen lamp, and it's just failed. I haven't kept a record of time & use (who would!), but it's certainly a long way short of the 30K hours claimed. I bought tree bulbs and installed them all, after some months one failed. I bought two spares. After another few weeks another one failed. I am not impressed!
