It's good, Bought this to charge and start my 2010 Mercedes E63 saloon, It worked well enough for me to live with... The only bad thing about this charger is there are no indicator lights that to tell you when the charger has finished charging the battery 100%... reading the instructions the switch/machine is supposed to switch over to trickle charge mode when it's finished charging the battery, not sure if I left it going long enough as nothing switched over ? ! Pros: This charger is big and powerful and allows me to start my 6.2 v8 engine no problem ! which is very handy should I get a flat battery ! Cons: No indicator light to tell you when your battery is fully charged which is a great shame for such a high end charger when the cheapie chargers for £30 have this important and helpful feature... .Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Use of plastic keeps the weight down.
Made to a price not quality, Tacky plastic buzzes loudly with mains hum. My example had a loose handle where the self tapping screws had been over tightened and were not holding. The analogue meter does not display well at low charging levels, the scale 0-200amps being a poor compromise between reading boost/start and those low levels. Without a diagram I could not see much in the way of the sophistication that the leaflet hints at. A very good product at a very reasonable price we got this as a replacement for an old charger. We need a good reliable product as my partner works away throughout the week and stays in our caravan, so batteries are on charge all weekend. I only got the charger last week and charged 2 large leisure batteries. It was easy to use with easy to follow instructions.
