After entering into mobile dj'ing in a slightly haphazard way i found my equipment purchases to often be wrong and a expensive learning experience. By the time i arrived at the reloop rmx 80 i had spent several hundreds of pounds on far less capable mixers and couldn't be happier when this unit arrived. Straight away you notice the build quality and weight of this unit... i wouldn't say its ridiculously heavy but it certainly feels robust and the controls boast a feeling of quality and longevity when compared to units just below or around this price range. The functions remain self explanatory, even as a new dj i found it simple to use and required very little homework to make the most of what it has to offer. With a solid metal build quality, there's a definite sense of professionalism and the built in effects unit will suffice most mobile work and audio interface requirements. it would be difficult to match another unit in this price range. The only other unit i would perhaps consider is the xone db2 (if i had another 400 pounds to spare) but unless you are planning on using this in a high end nightclub I'd be reluctant to invest in a far more expensive unit. This one offers some of the best functionality and simplicity in the price range without sacrificing any quality of sound or feel. Really good mixer and its never once let me down. Would recommend.Read full review
