    Good quality part

    Good quality part. Went easily in it's place. Biggest job was removing the old, broken cd spindle. Perhaps some instructions would've been good idea to include, as I was not sure if this one needs the orange O-ring the original CD spindle has. I didn't put the O-ring with this new one but maybe I should've done it, because at first my PS1 didn't read discs properly with the new spindle. However, after several tries with audio cd's and game discs, it started working normally so not sure what exactly was the initial problem. Now, with the new spindle, discs stay put reliably and the console works like new again :)

    Low quality, cheap material, you get what you pay for, would not recommend.

    The original ps hubs were made of porcelain whereas This item is made of low quality soft plastic and while it does fit it is not fit for purpose... The hub does not fit tightly enough on the spindle causing it to slip during use/changing discs which then causes the disc to scrape and the spindle to not be able to turn. It is unfortunate as if it held tighter it would have been a perfect replacement but due to this fact I would not recommend this product.
