A good, advanced model kit.
A good model, very fun to build. It is not for the beginner, though - the landing legs in particular were very difficult. Curiously the model contains parts to make a different version instead - with the landing legs folded away as they were while packed in the Saturn V for launch - there is no mention of this in the instructions. Revell produced another 1/48 scale LM - totally different tooling, comes with a diorama. This model contains self adhesive gold foil while the one I bought has the foil texture moulded in. I was lucky enough to find a sheet of this gold foil, it enabled me to add many extra details to the model.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Fun but you need patience
It’s great fun to make BUT the painting instructions are dreadful ! It tells you to paint a certain part but just by arrows so your not sure how much to paint . Those instructions could be far more detailed. But it’s good quality and time consuming which is greatVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Nice but could have more detail
The parts fit is very good. The parts were very crisp and well molded. I was disappointed that the windows were not clear. They are just black decals. The interior was not modeled at all. My Lunar Module Eagle
Received the model in good order. Have started to build it and find it very detailed. Have painted the parts before gluing it together which takes time to obtain a perfect model finish.
