It's good so long as you are ok subscribing to Ring Cloud for the foreseeable
It's good. But. I would've liked to store the short videos on a dedicated hard drive but the only way to do this is to subscribe to Ring cloud services. After the free trial you're on your own with regard to evidence presentation should you need it for evidence of crime. I might still opt for a doorbell camera competitor that supplies a home storage solution. The picture on this ring door bell/ camera is good and you certainly can talk to whomever is at the door. Sound is ok and it does what it's supposed to.. Setting areas in the app to monitor movement and areas to ignore is great. It certainly registers knocks at the door in the same way as it reacts when the bell is used.
