After 30 years of the same fan I have used, And had to put a drop of oil on each end to keep it running and the plastic has all gone away, Is Still a better fan at $25.00 then this $120.00 dollar fan SORRY to say!! I could have bought 6 of the $25.00 dollar fans for the price of this one. And Turbo?? Wow my $25.00 dollar one goes faster around then this High Dollar one??? So To Me This Was A Mistake Thinking it would be BETTER it's not, So save your money!! Yea, it looks nice, but that's it!!! My cheap one goes faster on slow this this new one on Turbo!! Thanks, C,A,G.

I find I sleep much better if there is air moving around me regardless of room temperature. I have spent a small fortune in my search for "The Fan." Some fans have worked well but are noisy. Some were so noisy but there was no actual c Fanning. Some were quiet, moved air, but lasted only a month or so! It also was extremely frustrating trying to remove dust from the blades. Ultimately, I was just about to concede defeat on finding a perfect fan, but couldn't come up with a reasonable compromise: dirty fan blades, the sound of a 727 jet engine, a puff of air or tornado or all of the above. So, I came to EBay to buy the first reasonably priced fan I came across. While scrolling I did a double take when I spotted this oddly shaped stand fan...why on earth wouldn't the fan have a straight vertical post and the price (not as expensive as some, but not cheap either). Thank goodness for product reviews because so many positives were written, I decided that I would give the Rowenta a trial. Placed my order and waited for this paragon to arrive. Four days later my fan arrived and the very first thing I noticed was that the base was much heavier than I'd ever seen in a floor fan; terrific stability. Then that oddly shaped post; a very intelligent and user friendly design. A remote that comes in so handy, particularly when I'm getting sleepy and want to change fan speed. A grille that is designed so that cleaning blades is a "breeze." (Yes, very punny, I know). And, a turbo speed for those days when you just need gale force winds. I have absolutely nothing but positive things to say about this fan. It is so quiet that unless you actually are in the path of air, you don't know it is on. So, yes, finally I possess what I consider to be my Holy Grail of fans. Read full review

This fan is very quiet, very efficient and one of the best fans I've bought BUT it is too heavy and not easily moved. We had the fan about 2 years when the housing holding the blades to the shaft cracked when we tried to move it. I like some weight to a fan, but the extreme weight of this one caused it's failure All parts work but there's no way to hold the fan motor & blades in place so our expensive fan is unless. I was unable to find this housing as a replacement part. Rollers on the base may have helped or a housing made of something other than plastic. If you park it in one place and rarely move it there probably wouldn't be a problem.

I have a table fan by this same manufacture and love it. I purchased this floor fan for my grandson and he loves it. It puts out more of a breeze than any fan I have ever owned and is super quite.
