Purchased to replace a thirty year old Hoover 52litre 700W flatbed microwave, which was taking up too much counter space and showing signs of wear. Attractive and compact at only 50cm wide; and the controls are easy to use. The flatbed design works well; food cooks uniformly and the absence of a turntable is an excellent feature. Power and Efficiency are both OK but not outstanding. Despite a claimed 800W on full power and drawing 1.3KW, it takes two minutes to heat a mug of tea from cold (instead of 90s). Standby power drain is excellent, at only 0.65W. Regrettably, it does not come with a glass tray so any boil-over or spillage will be directly onto the floor of the oven. Fortunately, Pyrex make a 32cm x 26cm ovenproof baking sheet (item 291B000/5016); the width is perfect and it can even serve as an intermediate shelf if carefully positioned.Read full review

Neat - high power and no turntable makes easy to clean and takes larger plates !

It is a little larger than most microwaves, which is due to its higher power and larger interior. That is why I bought it. It was reasonably priced and it looks as if it will last a long time
