Samsung Lives up to its name in terms of quality and speed with this SSD. It has quick load times and has the responsiveness that you would expect for high end systems for a SATA based SSD. I am using mine for Windows boot up and every day tasks such as Office based work, web browsing, media consumption and some light gaming. If your wanting something more demanding then a higher capacity SSD or moving over to a high capacity M.2 or NVME drive will be your better option. For me, it 10/10 for what I need it for as mentioned above.

There is a range of speed and quality ( and price ) of SSD's but I think it's fair to say that Samsung are the kings. Not only do you get a fast, quality drive, but also the ability to use Samsung Magician and Samsung Data Migration software on a Windows OS. I already have Samsung SSD's for both Windows and Linux and although there is no dedicated software from Samsung for Linux , I have to say that it seems just as speedy on Linux as Windows. Highly recommended and won't break the bank. You get what you pay for.

This is my second ssd from Samsung. The first one was Evo 840 and it’s been working very good. The Evo 860 is even faster it has longer life span. The coping, moving files, movies etc within disc and from/to usb 3.0 devices is smooth and rapid. Well done Samsung, again.
