Easy half hour DIY project, excellent value!
Some of the components on the board do not look identical to the OEM, but the connections are identical and the board itself is too. My 10 yr old StaRite wasn't working and the pool repair guy wanted $800 to replace it. This was a 30 minute job at most, including replacing the keypad. Once the heater case is removed (4 screws), remove the 2 pins securing the control board. Remove 4 small screws, take a picture to guide you if you forget what goes where if you want (not necessary, as none of the connectors are the same). Replace the connectors, replace the 4 screws, reassemble. It fired up like new, first time. Excellent value.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Working as expected since I installed it
I’ve got a 12 year old Pentair Mastertemp 250K Pool Heater, and it suddenly stopped working. I saw this item, and although it looked quite different from my old circuit board, a Pentair rep gold me it would work with my heater, so I purchased it. So far, so good! LED display different than original
The display appears to be LCD instead of LED, therefore it is not very bright and is difficult to see in the window. Otherwise, it seems to be working perfectly. One wire was turned differently than the original, but that was the only problem setting it up.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
