It appears to be a result of poor or improper packaging. Communication with the vendor was excellent as he offered various ideas to 'pop' out the dents which we tried with the result being that the shape of the reflector and gain was still not as it should have been had it not been damaged. Since trying to ship it back would be cost prohibitive and would delay our project I opted to just toss it out.
