Although I am older, I like these guys, Luke Quinn, the lead vocals could be, (and has been by me), mistaken for Robert Smith from The Cure. (My Era). He has the same great adaptable voice and there is nothing to dislike about him. Saving Aimee were at the top of the list of the unique few bands who had the ability to make each and every one of their songs different from the other, if you didn't know who they were already you would think you were listening to different bands. Great, self written lyrics and each and every one makes you want to get up and bounce around. This is music how it should be. Such a shame theses guys have split up. They had the energy, dedication and enthusiasm to take them far. But, sadly in todays music scene, a lot of 'fans' are merely trend followers, they're not following the music, they compete with their mates to see how many replies they can get on their social networking sites, they comment the bands and say how they are that particular bands 'biggest fan', but you only have to look on other bands pages to see that they leave exactly the same comments there too. Personally I prefer the raw versions of all these songs, I'm the same with all music, I'm from that era, BUT, this album is great, it's a shame a few more of their songs weren't on it, some of their earlier stuff, but it's fantastic all the same. Even if you don't know who they are, it's worth buying it because there's nothing to dislike about it, the catchy, lively tunes will soon have you singing along! Great to have in the car. Too much music these days has the same beat/sound/voice tone/similar and extremely repetitive lyrics where you can instantly tell who the (mostly) manufactured bands are. Sadly a lot of youngsters are lured into this because the media makes them. It's too easy in today's music scene to put together a good looking bunch of young lads together and digitally make them sound good. Then when they play 'live' it's either mimed or the monitors are turned up so loud that you can't hear them sing, and the crowd are too busy singing along themselves to notice. Unlike these guys.......Read full review
