I'm a keen DIY veteran but take after my old man in that if there is anything, even remotely possible to bang your head on during a job, my head will find it. Needless to say I was delighted when I found this products to save me doing anymore damage to my bonce. The quality is ace and it looks good to boot unlike some other bump caps that make you look special (no offense). It's comfy to wear and does the job it's suppose to. It prevents taking chunks and scrapes out of your head. Absorbs shock well from small bumps (as I said my head is like a bump magnet). Bear in mind this is not a crash helmet or hard hat so if you're on site ypu may still need to wear a hard hat. Only down side and that nay just be me it makes your head sweat like a sumo in a sauna. It is, as many will know, all too easy to give your head a 'bump' whilst concentrating on other things! I certainly have done and the last occasion was a life changer! I have certified safety helmets and I use them but this little gem is for habitually popping on your head when you are working but don't see any apparent danger. Like under the bonnet or under the car itself.....or even jumping up into a tractor cab! It is very light, for the money, well made and readily adjusts to fit most head sizes. As the hard shell is plastic, it is waterproof too, I guess. Not the latest fashion item but it may save a headache or two..
